The School Council of Calcot Schools Primary consists of two representatives from each class, from Year 2 to Year 6. The Council meets frequently to express their views and make decisions on how to make Calcot Schools even better. These meetings are led by Mrs Rostron, our Headteacher.

Our staff value the opinions and ideas of our pupils, with many important decision being made by the School Council. Recent decisions have included selecting our Junior School trim Trail; purchasing and organising equipment for lunchtime play and supporting the catering team to further enhance tuck shop and lunch menus.

The School Council even interview people for vacancies in school. In addition, they speak with visitors and show them around our school during open evenings and whole school events.
